Mike Hourihan.

CTO

Mike has spent spent eleven years serving as a Paramedic and the last five as a Flight Paramedic for Boston MedFlight. A career in Emergency Medical Services taught him how to manage situations that require focus, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under extreme stress. As a Helicopter Paramedic, He has had the opportunity to train with the very best rotor and fixed wing pilots in the country. The approach to safety he has been taught in full scale aviation directly applies to every aspect of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operation.

Joshua Dunham

IS Support

Joshua is intensly involved in optic research and development. In the past Joshua developed several new fluorescence imaging systems to assist the laboratories in exploring the limits of physical models for photon propagation and to quantize the results for various samples. Joshua preforms all duties towards developing these systems including hardware design, construction, software design and coding. With the aforementioned training and expertise being part of his every day lexacon he is enable to contribute to Multi Spectral Aerial Solutions with ease and expertise. His vast understanding of technology is embraced and welcome with the ever changing possibilties of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Joshua operates a nerwork of educated indiviuals who meet the task of rendering and cataloging all obtained imagery.

Stephen Chiavaroli

NDVI Expert

Stephen is an experienced Environmental Scientist, GIS Analyst, and Remote Sensing Specialist with a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science from Eastern Nazarene College and a Masters Degree in Geographic Information Science (GIS) from Clark University. Stephen has over 5 years of professional experience incorporating several disciplines including environmental consulting & engineering, advanced spatial and numeric statistical analyses, aquatic control technologies, water conservation, golf course management, wildlife conservation, vegetation monitoring, satellite imagery, and GIS. His experience is highly valuable in the new and upcoming use of drone imagery for vegetation presence and health monitoring serviced by MS Aerial. The specialized state of the art sensor used by MS Aerial is able to incorporate the reflectance and absorption of vegetation along the electromagnetic spectrum to create several indices, which in turn are interpreted by Stephen to monitor and measure the vegetation presence and health. Stephen has spent several years incorporating these advanced techniques as a GIS and Remote Sensing Consultant for many unique projects with the Wildlife Conservation Society, Digital Globe, Tellus Labs, and Clark University.

JOHN HIDALGO

Second Pilot

John is a recent graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in Aeronautics and minors in Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Aeronautical Studies. I have always had a passion for aviation and I hold a private pilot certificate with an instrument rating. I have grown up fascinated by radio controlled aircraft and was thrilled to learn that Unmanned Aerial Systems are becoming significantly more popular in the aviation industry. I have experience in all types of Aircraft including sUAS (Small Unmanned Aerial System's) and HALE (High Altitude Long Endurance) vehicles. Through my university I was fortunate to train on simulators similar to the MQ-1 "Predator" military drone. I own my own quadrocopter which I use regularly for personal photos and videos. I believe the safety culture of Embry-Riddle has helped me become the professional pilot I am today.
